This is the Chicago Speakeasy Capsule—a limited-edition drop designed by runner, designer, and visual storyteller, Greg Itahara, and inspired by the glamour, grit, and underground energy of the 1920s and ’30s. Drawing from Chicago’s rich Art Deco architecture and Prohibition-era speakeasies, Itahara reimagines our signature silhouettes as bold statements that celebrate the city’s past—and the runners writing its next chapter.
“Art Deco has a sense of glamour and opulence,” Itahara says, “paired with an emphasis on high-quality craftsmanship.” That spirit is woven into every stitch of these designs—from the symmetrical geometry of the crystal teal Go Time singlets to the golden accents that glimmer like hidden doorways after dark.
Like the speakeasies that shaped the city’s legacy, this limited-edition collection is rooted in community and word of mouth—crafted specifically for those who know where to look. It’s made to move and designed to stand out.
The Go Time Singlet
Where art meets adrenaline. This crystal teal singlet brings Art Deco to the frontlines with gilded patterning, layered geometric symmetry, and sleek construction for race day performance. Light, breathable, and built to be seen—whether you're running through the Windy City or your hometown streets.
The Go-To Hoodie + Go-To Sweats
Luxe meets lowkey. Featuring custom gold embroidery and next-level comfort, this all-black set pays homage to the city’s iconic architecture and early 1900s opulence. The embroidered star is a nod to the Chicago flag—with a rabbit front and center.
More than a running uniform, this is a piece of the city itself.
“I hope everyone feels they are taking a piece of Chicago history with them,” Itahara says. “They’re wearing articles of clothing that not only tell a story, but make them feel part of a community. Just like a speakeasy.”
For those running the Chicago Marathon this fall, Itahara encourages you to “Celebrate every mile, because you’ve earned it!”
Inspired by the city. Made to move. Gone in a flash. Don’t miss out on this limited-edition capsule.
