Marketing Associate
Reports to: Digital Marketing Manager
Location: Santa Barbara, CA
The Role: We believe in building and supporting our community: runners and dreamers from all walks of life and from around the globe. We all have our own reasons for running, but the one thing we share is our collective love for the sport. At rabbit, we strive to offer premium running gear to runners and dreamers of all levels while fostering a sense of community. Everything we do from a Marketing standpoint is in service of this, from product launches to in-person events to social media, email, advertising, and the website itself. Our Marketing Associate will be a key player in supporting all aspects of the marketing mix, helping to present rabbit in a consistent way to our consumers that promotes awareness, invites engagement, and builds long-term relationships with the brand.
Key Responsibilities:
Digital Marketing Support

Website
- Assist with website updates, from uploading products to Shopify to publishing and organizing blog posts to creating and publishing landing pages. Includes image uploads, descriptions, tagging, adding to appropriate collections, and activating products for launch.
- Support product and collection merchandising, ensuring optimal organization and display. Includes selecting and managing cross-merchandising options and testing upsells.
- Frequently scan the website for errors, missing or outdated imagery, broken links, and more. Flag and repair, working with the DevTeam as needed.
- Provide support on tracking and reporting on website performance metrics.
- Email Marketing
- Work with the team to set up, schedule, and track marketing campaign emails in Klaviyo.
- Assist with building, testing, and optimizing automated email flows, from researching ideas to setting up in Klaviyo, to reporting on results.
- Learn the structure of our Loyalty Program and its associated emails; update all communications with latest imagery and branding. Investigate ways to optimize and better manage this program as a method of customer retention.
Photography
- Coordinate photo and video shoots for product launches, events coverage, and more.
- Location research and permitting: scout potential shoot locations, secure necessary permits for commercial photography shoots, ensuring compliance with local regulations and guidelines.
- Sample management: Oversee the organization and tracking of product samples, coordinate with the product team, and maintain accate inventory records.
- Photoshoot preparation: Prepare for e-commerce photoshoots by steaming garments, gathering samples, props, and accessories, booking models and photographers, and ensuring adherence to the shot list during the session. Arrange for meals and snacks.
- Asset management: Manage the inflow and outflow of photography assets; organize and maintain an efficient asset library.
Social Media and PR
- Collaborate on asset creation for social media platforms, specifically Instagram and TikTok.
- Help monitor and engage on social media accounts, including interacting with ambassadors, elite athletes, and partner brands through direct messages, comments, and likes.
- Monitor social media trends and contribute creative ideas for content and campaigns.
- Coordinate our product sample program to key PR and influencer contacts, including list management outreach, placing orders, tracking, and following-up.
Community and Events
- Assist in the logistics around planning, organizing, and executing rabbit events, sponsorships, and activations – from marathon expos to trail races to industry shows to team meet ups– in various locations around the US.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred.
- 1-3 years of experience in marketing or a similar role, preferably in the sports, fitness, or outdoor industries.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Dedicated, adaptable, and solution-oriented; able to think and act on the fly when necessary and handle high-stress situations.
- Exceptional attention to detail, excellent organization skills, proficient at managing multiple projects and responsibilities – concurrently, on time, and within budget.
- Experience with social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, etc.) and content management tools.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar software is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of ecommerce platforms (e.g. Shopify) and email marketing tools (e.g. Klaviyo).
- Passion for running or a strong connection to the running/fitness lifestyle is a bonus.
- Position is based in Santa Barbara, CA.
- Some travel will be necessary for this role.
Salary and Benefits
- Salary Range: $60,000 - $66,000

Product Development/Design Intern (6-Month Internship)
Reports To: Director of Product Development & Director of Product Design
Location: Santa Barbara, CA
The Role: rabbit is seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Product Development/Design Intern to join our team. This role is designed to support the Product and Design departments, ensuring processes run smoothly and efficiently while gaining hands-on experience in the running apparel and footwear industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Organize and maintain product samples to ensure accessibility and proper inventory.
- Manage and update the fabric library by filing headers and bulk fabric cuttings.
- Create seasonal swatch books for key retailers to enhance product presentations.
- Measure incoming samples and compare them against specifications for accuracy.
- Assist in preparing for seasonal milestone meetings and ensuring smooth execution.
- Maintain and update the seasonal product catalog using Adobe Illustrator and Adobe InDesign.
- Support fit meeting preparations, including organizing materials and samples.
- Assist in creating engaging product presentations.
- Review and provide feedback on color strike-offs and lab dips for approval.
- Perform administrative tasks and provide general office support as needed by the development and design teams.
Qualifications:
- Proficient in Adobe Illustrator and Adobe InDesign.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Passion for running and/or the athletic apparel industry is a plus!
Hours & Compensation:
- 20-30 hours per week.
- Compensation: $20/hour.
- Performance and continuation to be evaluated after six months.

The Role: rabbit is looking for an Independent Sales Rep (ISR) for our Northeast territory to sell and service rabbit apparel, footwear, and accessories. This is a commission-only position.
Key Responsibilities
Meet and exceed sales and distribution objectives as assigned by Sales Management to grow rabbit in your territory and achieve total company objectives. Identify and pursue new sales opportunities in your territory which could include retailers, events, and partnerships. Provide feedback from the field to help inform product development and marketing strategies. Fulfill administrative responsibilities including, but not limited to, complying with rabbit’s pricing programs and policies & procedures; efficient, timely, and accurate order entry into sales system; accurate execution and record of promotional budget; maintaining accurate account files and records. Actively merchandise and maintain rabbit products in-store including displays and POP promotional materials to promote sell-through and minimize product returns. Create connections with retailers and communities through in-person interactions like in-store events, community run groups, and tech sessions. Establish, develop, and maintain positive working customer relationships with a “customer focused” attitude regardless of volume, potential, or credit status. Timely follow-up on customer requests and handling customer issues /problems with a positive outcome. Balance customer expectations with company objectives. Promote rabbit products at events and tradeshows. Stay informed on industry trends.

The Role: Part-time fulfillment team member in the rabbit warehouse.
Key Responsibilities:
- Picking and packing orders for shipment
- Replenishing items from back-stock
- Taking inventory counts
- Receiving shipments
- Other miscellaneous tasks to keep everything running smoothly
